Since 1994 Antonello Marchese has been working as an hiking guide, taking groups of visitors, tourists, and students to discover of the footpaths, history and nature of the Isle of Elba and the other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. Among his most important collaborations are his partecipation, as an environmental education operator, to the project "Blueweeks" organized by the environmental association Marevivo and many services as a guide of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago in the Pianosa project. Antonello was the first guide landing on the island of Pianosa starting the guided visits after the closing of the famous prison founded in 1856. Since 2002 he is one the fifteen Official Guides of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago.
